Quickstart

The ten-minute tour. Sign in, find your way around, and do the things you'll do most often.

You don't need to set anything up. Refresh has already created your project and added you to it. Here's what to do, in order.

  1. Sign in with your email. Go to dashboard.refresh.gg, type the email address we invited you with and press Email me a sign-in link. Open the email (it's from dashboard@refresh.gg), press Sign in to your project, then press Sign in on the page that opens. There's no password to remember. More about signing in.
  2. Look at your project overview. This is the first page you see. The big number is how far along your project is, out of 100%, with the target launch date next to it. Each phase is listed underneath, and the one we're working on now is marked "now". More about the overview.
  3. Check "Waiting on you". Just below the progress, this list shows anything we need from you: something to review, a quote to approve, or something we're missing (like photos). If it says "Nothing right now", you're all caught up.
  4. Say hello in Messages. Choose Messages in the left-hand menu, type in the box at the bottom and press Enter to send. Everyone on the project sees it straight away. Use the paperclip to send a file. More about messages.
  5. Ask for something. Press New request at the top right of any page. Give it a short title (for example "Add a gift voucher page") and a few details, then press Send request. It gets a number like R-15 and appears on your Requests board. More about requests.
  6. Approve work, or ask for changes. When something's ready for you, it moves to the Your review column and appears in "Waiting on you". Open it, have a look, then press Approve if you're happy, or Ask for changes and tell us what to change. Quotes work the same way: press Approve quote and start when you're happy with the price.
  7. Share files and links. Choose Links & files in the menu. Press Upload a file (up to 25 MB) or Pin a link to keep it to hand for everyone on the project. More about links and files.
  8. Know when we need you. We'll email you when something is ready for your review, when there's a quote to approve, and when someone replies to one of your requests. On weekday mornings you may also get a short summary. Each email has a Stop these emails link at the bottom. More about emails.

On your phone

The dashboard works in your phone's web browser too. There's no app to install. The left-hand menu folds away behind a button at the top of the screen with your project's name on it. Tap it to open the menu.

Signing out

Your name is at the bottom of the left-hand menu, with a Sign out button next to it. If you don't sign out, you stay signed in on that browser for 30 days.
